The meaning of every number
What is numerology?
Numerology is the ancient study of the symbolic vibration of numbers, traditionally traced to the Greek philosopher Pythagoras (c. 570–495 BC). By converting your name and birth date into numbers, it offers a mirror for self-reflection: your natural gifts, inner motivations, lessons and the rhythm of the years ahead.

Frequently asked questions
Is this fortune telling?
No. Numerology is a symbolic, reflective practice. It describes tendencies and cycles to help you think about your life — it does not predict fixed events or decide your future. Please use it for self-reflection and entertainment.
Is it free?
Your core numbers, name numbers, karma, birth charts, current personal year/month/day, compatibility, children, phone and name tools are all free, with no account needed. The in-depth report (chart arrows and every chart number explained, pinnacles, challenges, life cycles and the 9-year and 12-month forecast) is unlocked once per person for a small one-time fee via payOS bank transfer.
Which name should I enter?
Use your full birth name exactly as it appears on your birth certificate. You can add a nickname or the name you use daily; it is used for the name chart and combined chart to show how it balances your birth chart.
Do I need to remove Vietnamese diacritics?
No. You can type your name with accents; Bavanga removes diacritics automatically (Đ becomes D, Ư becomes U, and so on) before converting letters to numbers.
My official birth date differs from my real one. Which should I use?
Use your real solar (Gregorian) birth date. If you are curious, look up both and compare — many people find the real date resonates more. Do not use the lunar calendar date.
Why is my Life Path 10 when other sites say 1?
Bavanga follows the convention popular in Vietnam, which reduces the Life Path only down to 2–11 (keeping 22 and 33). A Life Path 10 corresponds to Western Life Path 1. Read our article on master numbers for details.
Is my data stored?
All calculations run in your browser. We do not send your name or birth date to a server or store them in a database.
Is this site affiliated with Baba Vanga?
No. Baba Vanga (1911–1996) is our inspirational mascot. Bavanga is an independent project with no connection to her family, estate or museum, and the daily messages are original tributes, not her words.
